Donations from a couple must be written on separate checks, or each must sign the same check.  Corporate checks are not allowed.  The maximum amount you can contribute is $2,300.

Federal law requires us to obtain and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $100 per election cycle. Contributions from federal government contractors, minors under 18 years of age and foreign nationals who lack permanent resident status are prohibited. Foreign nationals with permanent resident status can contribute. Contributions are not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes.
